Nsano Staff in Focus: Up Close with Alberta Serwaa Boateng

This month’s focus is on Alberta Serwaa Boateng, our manager, Enterprise Business. Alberta oversees the Nsano’s relationship with our partners. She is also responsible for identifying and developing unique propositions in the fintech space that will drive growth for current and potential partners.

Q: How long have you worked at Nsano?

A: I have worked in Nsano for three and a half years. I’m going on my fourth year

Q: How has your experience been so far?

A: One word; exacting. The Nsano experience is unique. The specific procedures performed here cannot be found elsewhere.

Q: What’s your best memory working here?

A: My best memory was during the Covid period. Even though we didn’t get to see each other we had virtual meetings to have fun and that created a very great bond.

Q: How would you describe your leadership style?

A: I’ll describe myself as a hands-on leader who likes to work hard with her team to gain very good results.

Q: When hiring a new team member, what are the 2 most important traits you look out for?

A: Based on my leadership style, I would look for someone who takes initiative and someone who is easy going because we are in a space that is fast-moving.

Q: If you could get a lifetime supply of anything. What would it be?

A: It would be money. Money is an important asset.

Q: What will your friends describe you as?

A: They will describe me as loyal

Q: What did you want to be as a child?

A: As a child, I wanted to be a doctor and a businesswoman.

Q: Explain fintech to a ten (10) year old.

A: In our world now, a ten-year-old knows what tech is because they have exposure to video games, iPads, and all. I’d tell the child that fintech is using the technology that makes your video games make more money  

Q: How do you spend your leisure?

A: I use my leisure to watch shows on Netflix

Q: A fully funded international travel experience. Which one; an amusement park, an exotic island or a rich heritage site?

A: I would go to an exotic island

Q: What are your future expectations working at Nsano?

A: I see Nsano growing bigger, and I expect to grow with the company. We pray the expansion of Nsano resonates with staff as well.
